4 night stay in Room 104. Comfy bed, decent shower and a little tired but added to the charm. Safe broken and failed to fix it but just had to carry valuables around with passport. No big deal. Hanger shortage that was not rectified but gave up asking. Staff were all friendly enough but case of too many chiefs not enough Indians. Little balcony off the room. Breakfast very good and staff there excellent. Rooftop restaurant very good with a wonderful view over the Bosphorus. Location is superb in the Sultanahmet region within a very short walk of the Blue Mosque and Hippodrome, the Hagia Sophia €25 euro entrance fee(well worth it although I felt strongly that you shouldn’t have to pay to go into a place of worship) Basically you go round the upper floors looking into this magnificent building. A little further north is the Topkapi Palace which is wonderful. The Basilica Cistern is also between the 2 mosques. A little hard to find the entrance as it’s around the corner to the exit but a brilliant underground water labyrinth. The area near the Galatea bridge is great and try the fish sandwich served from boats on the quayside. Very nice watching the world go by. Nearby is the spice market, new mosque and Süleymaniye mosque. Over the bridge go visit the Galatea tower and walk the shopping street Istiklal avenue to Taksim Square. We also did a day cruise and boat trip from the hotel. Goes over to Asia. You visit the Beylerbeyi palace which is a highlight and go up to Turkeys biggest mosque Çamlıca. Breakfast and lunch provided and coaches from hotels and to attractions not on the river. You finish at Pierre Loti for a great view and cable car ride down. Wonderful trip. Would definitely recommend the hotel

Staff were very friendly and gave good recommendations for local food and activities which was perfect for me as I’d never been to Istanbul before. The room was very clean and hotel was very central to a lot of restaurants and local amenities.

Friendly staff and service - hotel was always clean and welcoming! A relaxing stay for our 4-day trip. The room was comfortable and bright, with excellent views over the river. Would happily stay here again, if given the opportunity. Well done team!

My room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Resep & Kazim were exceptional. This is the second time I stayed at this hotel and I’m looking forward to coming back again later this year. The food was good for breakfast. We didn’t use the lovely restaurant at the top with a view because they only had one vegetarian option.

Room was nice and clean Atmosphere was good nice and welcoming staff. Restaurant food was good and cheap Had an amazing experience Highly recommended Hotel was close to all main attractions walking distance from hotel………………………………………..
